Six steps to preserve youthfulness and maintain vitality in your mind and body:
Step 1: Visualize yourself as young and energetic, in various youthful situations such as a night at the club.
Step 2: Your visualization should have a tangible effect on your thoughts and feelings. If you feel old and tired, imagine having smooth, youthful skin and keeping up with young people while dancing.
Step 3: Visualize yourself as alert, athletic and youthful, reliving the physical movements you made in your teenage years. Repeat this visualization at least twice a week to help keep your body young.
Step 4: If you suffer from any age-related illnesses, imagine leading a healthy life and make the necessary changes to improve your health.
Step 5: Engage all of your senses, including sight, sound, smell, taste and touch, to enhance your visualizations. With regular practice, your mind will improve in each of these areas.
Step 6: Visualize yourself in a sea of endless energy, swimming through warm and inviting waters, feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Dry yourself off with a soft towel, feeling youthful and vigorous in mind, body and soul.
